Step 1: Trace the notebook cover onto the backside of your paper. If you are using a spiral notebook, make sure the paper is lined up with the edges of the little holes.

I have a question. Did you use a certain type of paper to cover the notebook? I want to print a certain design but it would be on regular paper? In order for it to have this finish does it have to be cover letter paper or a certain thickness?

Not sure what Amy would have to say, but in my experience Mod Podge works better with slightly thicker paper. Try printing your design on card stock or sketching/watercolor paper. You can cut it to the same size as standard printer paper and run it through a regular printer. I do that for free printables and it always looks really nice!
